This is a great handfrees device, we bought three for our company trucks and locomotives and they work great, good clear sound and when talking the person on the other end say the sound is very clear, great battery life and simple to use
I highly recommend it. The ear pieces are uncomfortable, especially wearing sun/eye glasses, not to mention looking like a dork. Why the 4/5 and not 5/5 stars: I think the power on/off part of it could be better, but this is minor. The sound quality is great and it really does a good job a cutting out the road noise for the listener. If you just want something for the car and your ok with holding your phone while not in the car, get it. The battery life is also really good.
works well I had to go to Verizon to pair the two. instructions were not clear and Verizon could not help me online because the couldn't find blue ant model # in their data. now everything is good Frank Johnson
If this occurs a second time, I will be looking for a different hands free unit to purchase. I contacted the manufacturer service representative and was provided with swift service re returning the unit.
Just charge it, synchronize the Blue Tooth function with your cellular phone and you were off and driving down the road with no installation costs or down time.The unit was fully operational for the first 3-weeks. I liked the no installation feature of this unit.
As the microphone was slid in to turn off the device, you could feel the catch click but the microphone would not stay in the retracted off position. It worked very nicely during hands free usage.
However, during the third week the on/off switch, which is built into the slide out microphone, would not stay retracted in the off position. I am awaiting the arrival of the new unit to see if I experience the same problem.
They had the best price and I've always been satisfied with their service.I've had the unit for 5 weeks and love it. I think the blue tooth headsets are too geeky and designed for people who think they're just a little too important. With ever-tightening cellphone use while driving laws I decided to look for alternatives. The set up is simple and, surprise, the instructions can be read and understood by someone without an engineering degree. I saw a special on line for another brand that a friend of mine had,but he wasn't happy with his so I continued to look around the internet reviews,etc. I found that the BlueAnt unit had excellent reviews so checked Amazon. Call quality on both ends is great. A little more money that many units but well worth the money
